yesterday I found on a inland dune in Berlin a fly with orange legs.
Who can help me to determine the species?

Sure, a nice one! Syrphidae,
Chalcosyrphus spec. (compare mine in
http://www.dipter...d_id=48510). Yours seems to be less hairy on the legs, so perhaps another species. Let us wait for the Syrphidologists

Thanks for the most valuable key! On the one hand, it enables us to ID not referring mainly to jizz. On the other hand, one learns how many important characters can hardly be seen in a photograph...
