Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown fly 3...

Hello,

Near by D?sseldorf / Germany, at the beginning of april, i found this fly in a dry meadow. It was about 8-10mm long.

I know this is not the best perspective to identify this fly, but i hope somebody can help.

Dunno - I suspect Maik has over-estimated the size and it is an Anthomyiidae.

I have to agree with Susan. Again!

Looking at the fly, I wouldn't call that a dry meadow Smile
