Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Empsis sp. with red legs

Dear Visitors,

Do You know this empsis fly with its red legs and the metallic blue shining knees?
Size app. 14 mm .
I saw them very often fly in my garden in the last weeks -eastern part of Austria.
