Dear community
because I want to use this photo for an article I would like to ask your opinion about this species (i'm not a dipterologist). Eristalis interrupta or E. similus or? Photo taken on 6 Apr 2014, Zürich CH.

Hello Beat,

this should be Eristalis pertinax (pale front tarsi).


P.S.: Syrphidae questions should better be placed in the Syrphidae subforum. Maybe not all Syrphidae experts (I am none of them, I'm only a layman) look into the main forum.
