* size - 6 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - openland
* substrate - Taraxacum cf. officinale
Calliphorid fly?? What a strange fly... it looks a little like Amenia (concerning the burnt face), but it is clearly very different!
The unusual thing is the calypters.. they are huge!!!

Second suggestion is better !
It's actually a Miltogramma (s.l.).
Liekele might be able to help you to species level.

It is Miltogramma, probably aurifrons.
I think this is a female. Identification then is difficult. I need to compare it with other specimens.
Is it collected?
