Thank you for ID. Episyrphus? I can not find. Slovakia-Kosice, 28.10.2013, 250m a.s.l.

Should be a male Episyrphus! I have never seen another species than E. balteatus, however. The colouration of its abdomen seems to be rather variable (http://www.galeri...eatus.html. So yours might be within the range of variation... Interesting indeed! We need a Syrphid expert!
