on 2014-05-16 I found this small fly ovipositing in a forest clearing. Unfortunately it was not possible to take pictures from another perspective. Regards, Ingo

That's often the case with this genus Frown. I think it's Melanostoma sp. (M. scalare due to the green halteres?). But wait for the experts.
