Diptera.info :: Platypezidae larvae?

I found this in an oilseed rape water tray sample from July 2013, approx. size a couple of mm, I thought it might be a Platypezidae larvae, any ideas?

For me that's right. 11 segments (3 thor + 8 abd), and I also can see somehow the small antennae.

You did compare with
Fannia
larva? Locality is less likely to have Platypezidae than Fanniidae.

I agree with Paul, looks like Fannia to me. If it is sclerotized dorsally than certainly Fannidae, if not, then something else. There are only 2 other families of Brachycera with sclerotization above, but that is not the case here.

Thanks for your replies, it is sclerotized dorsally so I will go with Fanniidae.
