Hello Valerio,

You see, it's my promblem too, eventhough these flies are well described I have problems to recognise them and I'm happy with the help of this forum.

Maybe Reinoud can help us out here..

My initial thought was about T. atricapillus, but when I enlarged legs with my PP application I noticed that legs appear unfit. So, for me T. cf. cingulatus can be ok.

T. atricapillus is right. Note the beard, it is basically black, cingulatus would have much whiter beard in the lower half. T. atricapillus is notoriously variable. T. cingulatus has always red "rings" on top of femora and definite black markings on middle of tibiae. (Which are not always Obvious)
