Stephen, please note that friulensis it is not cited in Tolra's catalogue from iberian peninsula.
Cited in Iberia: D. albostriatus, eggeri, pinastri, tricinctus, and venustus...

But the truth is that the fly in the images doesn't fit any of the species cited in the catalogue for Spain and fits very well Dasysyrphus friulensis Wink I am with Stephane Smile Smile Nice finding!! Smile
