Well, that's better than I ever managed - I have never seen one in England myself but they are caught fairly regularly and they are present in most collections. Quite easy to confuse with
Eriothrix rufomaculata if you can't see the laterally compressed abdomen. But
Mintho has those 2 clear black bars on the anterior part of the thorax -
Eriothrix has many more.

That species is very abundant here later in summer. Additionally to the different body shape I find it is much more red in colouration.
