Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid fly (dull greyish one)

Today I photographed this tachinid fly at Leerdam, Netherlands, in a small wooded area along the river Linge. It was quite large, appr. 10-12 mm.
It is one of the dull, greyish ones. But perhaps someone is able to name it anyway.

Blepharipa pratensis.
Definitely uncommon.
Specialized in Lymantria dispar (caterpillar on oak).

You see the peculiar hairs at the side of the third tergite (which is actually the fourth tergite )? The so-called 'Sturmia'spot', which gave it away quite easily.
