Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Which Tephritis?

Hi all,

This Tephritis was sunbathing last month on young oak-trees lining an open field currently not in use (Hengelo, Overijssel, Netherlands - 20070509).

I found very few pictures of Tephritis on the internet and those are not enough for me to distinguish clearly between T. cometa, T. neessii and T. vespertina - and that's only considering the ones I've found and assuming those dets on the net are correct Frown

Just hoping some of you might be more knowledgable Wink

Thank for any answer or pointers to info!
Cheers
Arp
