This fly invited the lovage in my garden. Could it be an Anthrax anthrax(ominous name..Smile? Otherwise, as if the wingpattern would be slightly different from those in the gallery.

?? Nope the wingpattern, A. Anthrax doesn't have such sharp edge between the black and the clear wing..

High, everybody

I noticed that there are some difficulties with Anthrax (I too have). But I think I found out, that Anthrax anthrax must have white spots on its back.

Likely to that that I attach.

And the above photos with that reasinign could not be A. anthrax

Or is mine no A. anthrax too?

Greetings, Siga

This I would say is a very fresh and not fully coloured Anthrax anthrax.

Thanks

I have twor or three other pictures of A. anthrax, only a few minutes after shedding and with green dust on it together with a bladder. Maybe its from some desease. I'll start a new thread with that.
