I regularly see this fly in my garden or even indoor. According to my general insect guide it should be
Poecilobothris nobilitatus
. Can that be correct? The Netherlands, typical suburb with lots of shrubs and trees.

If you have a pond in your garden, it's very entertaining to watch the males displaying with their wings.
