Thanks.
It is possible to tell that it is Eristalis tenax?
#5
I cannot see the hair lines on the eyes, so I would say no.
#6
And character of strips on a paunch?
Such drawing only at Tenax seems to me.

Just one picture does not show all the characters needed to identify
Eristalis species. Size, face, hairyness of eyes and arista, colour of tibiae and tarsi, and extent of wing spots are to be estimated in combination to get a reasonably certain identification. See the key in
http://web.archiv...stkey.html to understand the trickyness of the genus.

tabiatdostu: did you
really get to that species with the help of the key cited? We cannot see the length of the arista hairs, we hardly see the legs, we cannot see if there is a black facial stripe. So we are not able to discriminate between several species, but to me it is
not E. interrupta, because the pterostigm is rectangular and not "square (including surrounding veins even shorter than wide)". Besides, there are dark markings on the wings that are also not typical for
E. interrupta.
