Hello!
In the last days the many, many
Haematopota pluvialis females on the meadows and near the wood made photographing expeditions very unpleasant...

.
But this male was harmless. It came to our garden lantern at night. Is it also
H. pluvialis or possibly another species? Thanks in advance!

Hello, Andre!

Thanks! In this case I'm afraid that was not possible (fly sitting too high), but now I know what to look at for the future.
