Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Orthonevra geniculata ?

Coll. 13 April 2016 on a seepage in heathland on Anglesey, North Wales, UK. It is a good fit to the keys except the cross vein is not darkened. In this situation, Stubbs & Falk suggest checking for Orthonevra spp. not recorded from UK.

Broad face, long two-colour antennae, two-colour pterostigma, one of veins on the wing visibely darked -> O. geniculata!
