Is it possible to tell genus and spieces of this Doli with body 2 mm?
Eyes seems to have 2 colors if that can help.

That was my first idea. However, A. melanotrichus has no preapicals on femora, has light palpi and coxae. So, it must be excluded.

Dear Igor,

A. melanotrichus has preapical setae on mid and hind femur.

Considering the shape of the first flagellomere (postpedicel), the apical arista and the diverging veins R4+5 and M, it must be a member of the Achalcinae.

Dear Kurt,

If this species has only 5 dorsocentral bristles, then there is a good chance that you are dealing with Achalcus cinereus (females have the antenna nearly entirely black, see Pollet 1996). At least this specimen has the sternites dark, which is typical for this species as well. If you don't find this reference on internet, get in touch with me: mpollet.doli@gmail.com.
