Good evening,
September is Sciomyzidae - time, yesterday I saw a little ( 2 mm ) fly, keeping its wings in a (at least for me) rather unusual position.
Because of the stripy eyes and the pronounced antennas I suppose it was a snail-killing fly.
Am I right and could somebody tell more ?

Alas, no, you are wrong. It is a species of
Stegana of the family Drosophilidae. The way the dark wings are held are characteristic for the genus.
