Hello!

Sorry for the bad picture quality! I thought of a Cheilosia, but Gisela Merkel-Wallner told me that this might be a Trichopsomyia sp.. Found on July-23 near a hedge here in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Length about 7-9 mm.

No, not Trichopsomyia, they don't have this little facial knob between mouth and antennae. This is a female of Pyrophaena rosarum, sometimes placed in Platycheirus!
