PS. This seems to me a new species of Antipalus. This is a female but i can't find any species with femora with red stripes (in all known species femora seem to be black, Ionescu & Weinberg do not give a description of the legs A. bilobus) Although the ovipositor is similar to most Antipalus species this one is typical. I hope some one else has an idea.....

Thank's for the response.
I'll ask for an additional pics. until then, I'm attaching a crop of genitalia.
According to Richter, V.A., “Predatory Robber Flies (Diptera, Asilidae) of the Caucasus,” the only species given for the Caucasus is A. varipes, but as you have almost mentioned, the specimen on the pic doesn't fit the description :/

Thank you Armen. According to Fauna Europaea there are 8 species in Europe, most from the South East. Is there a Georgian checklist for diptera? I can't find any Antpalus species with such legs..... so it might well be a new species to science.

No, there's no checklist on Asilidae of Georgia (at least the one i know).
