Hi,
on May 30th, I found this fly in the foothills north of Vienna, Austria. Can you please help me identify it?
Thank you
and best regards,
Konrad

Thank you, Roger,
and greetings to the Shetland Isles (I only know them through the mysteries of Ann Cleeves),

Correct. However, formosa is not a valid name anymore. I am preparing a revision during the last 20 years, hopefully, it should be finished sooner or later.

Thank you, Valery,
you see me waiting patiently until the time a new name replaces "formosa"...Smile
Best regards,
Konrad
