Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Empid ?

I think this s an empid but the genus it came to using Collin's book was clearly wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.
The wing pattern looks fairly distinctive.
It is in alcohol.

Thanks for that. So I was in the right part of the book. I'm not sure whether the front legs are "raptorial" but either way it doesn't seem fit anything in Collin. The stigma is wrong for Chelifera. If they are not raptorial, then long dorso-centrals lead to Chamaedipsia but there is no bristle on the front of the fore femora in the apical third and no mention of wing pattern.

On second thought, this may be one of the genera moved into Brachystomatidae. It's similar to
Heleodromia except for forked R4+5.

Thanks very much. I'll go back to the key and see where I went wrong.
