This one had an unusual way of hanging under the leaf surface after catching prey.

In America the hanging behavior is typical of some genera of Dasypogoninae. Probably close to Saropogon; I don't know what other, similar genera you have in India.

Thank you John. I wonder who is knowledgeable about Diptera esp Asilidae in India. Please let me know if you have ant idea.

When i have more time i will have a closer look. I do not know much of Indian Asilidae yet :-)
