Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Urophora sp?

This from N Wales in June, habitat riparian vegetation in wooded uplands. Perhaps Urophora cardui?

Any help much appreciated

Hi Tristan,

It can be either U. jaceana, U. curspidata of U. solstitialis.
To be sure you'll need to examine the aculeus....
