Found on 31. Mai 2017 near Kerzers, Switzerland, 437 m, on a woodden armrail, waving its wings and abdomen.

Size: 5 mm

Could it be an Euxesta sp.? Maybe E. notata?

I think Euxsta notata. According to the key by Curran (1935) costalis has a larger wing spot.

So it is either an invader or the similar native. Since the wing spot rather speaks for E. notata, I assume this to be the case.

All Euxesta are native to America. E. costalis was described from the West Indies, notata from the United States.
