ID help please. Sevastopol, Crimea, coastal zone of the Black Sea. Body length approximately 35 mm. August 5, 2017.

Thanks for the new picture! Smile It seems to have a closed m3 cell. Very interesting Wink However, I cannot find any Stenopogon species recorded for Crimea and the ones in surrounding areas simply don't fit. Probably my brain is melting with the heat Wink

Wait for Reinoud. He will see this sooner or later...

Not much to add to Piluca's remark... except that S. junceus and S. elongatus are known from Asia minor and SE-Europe. The closed cell M3 would point at S. elongatus

Btw, I cited Lehr '88 and Engel '30 for distribution. I am not sure of ID.
