A friend of mine took this photo yesterday in Gois - Serra da Lous? - PORTUGAL

The credits of photo go to Lu?s Ferreira.


I think this is Tachina sp.

There is Peleteria bristles here (if I correctly listened to Theo).

and you must be quite right! There is really a line of bristles in abdomen that fits precisely for Peleteria!!! And the very reddish abdomen as well.

Correct

Could be P. rubescens, difficult to be sure
