Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyiidae from N Spain, ID please -> cf. Pegoplata aestiva

Hi, everybody

Here there is a little character found on Anemone nemorosa at about 1250 m in the Cantabrian mountains, in Asturias, Spain, in the edge of a birch forest.

Any idea about what it is? I'm not even sure it is Muscidae, maybe other family...

Question: Aren't Pegoplata supposed to have the apical scutellar setae at most fine and not stoutly developed (based on Griffiths, Family Anthomyiidae, Flies of the Nearctic Region)?
