Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Zavreliella marmorata? NL 2013

Hello,

Could this be Zavreliella marmorata?
The picture was taken 29-06-2013 in a park in Nieuwegein, The Netherlands (the quality is not so great unfortunately, but it's the only picture I was able to make).

I think you are right, Zavreliella marmorata female. Some populations are parthenogenic.

If I hadn't accidentally stumbled across your Zavreliella marmorata-pictures on Bugguide.net a while ago, I wouldn't have been able to identify this one Smile
