Hmm, looks like
Phasia obesa
(female) or
Phasia barbifrons
- from the size & yellow haltares
Would be nice to see the face or a dorsal view.

I have only one pic of this fly. Did'nt have the chance to make a second one.
I think, after comparing the pics in the gallery, that it is a Phasia barbifrons.

I agree that
barbifrons
is more likely but it's hard to say for sure because we'd need to check the colour of hairs on the gena.
Would be nice to see the face or a dorsal view.
