2018-05-25, near Innsbruck found seating on Pinus sylvestris in a small forest. Is it a Cheilosia?

No, it's a male Merodon sp., probably from the aureus group….

"Aureus" is a well-chosen name but the taxonomy of the group looks very difficult for me.
