Thread subject: Diptera.info :: larva of Anopheles

Good evening,
Here is a Culicidae larva found in a pond in northern France this week:

I think it is an Anopheles, but without any idea of the species.
Can you help me to determine it, I do not have a document that allows it.

Some of the required detail is not visible in the photo, but the pattern of dark marks on the head is typical of the Anopheles maculipennis complex. Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to separate the species using morphological characters.
