Hello!

Is this P. rufiventris? Very big (egg filled?) abdomen. Size of a normal house fly, found two days ago at a hedge (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Thanks in advance!

Thanks! But...: "high probability" means, there are similar, less probable species (?).

Phaonia subventa and bitincta are similar.
I'm convinced this one is P. rufiventris (scutellum entirely reddish, seems to have at most only 1 presut. ac. and other reasons...).
