Hi,
Finland Kokkola 1 Jan. 2019.
Wondering if anyone could help ID this? Was found in ,
Picea abies from mixed woodland in Finland. From memory less than 2cm in length.

Hi Pentti Ketola,

A Xylophagidae larvae. Of X. ater and X. cinctus larvae are known. But in Finland there are a few additional species present. So for a species ID is not possible.
