Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Mydaea sp

Location: About 30 km N of Stockholm, Sweden
Date: 2007-OCT-06
Habitat: Near sea
Size: ~ 10 mm

Anthomyiidae? I wonder if those strong facial bristles near the palps tell anything. Arista plumose, but hard to see.

Arista is plumose and this is Muscidae, I'd say Mydaea
