Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Minute midge

SW France yesterday. Body size around 2 mm long. On a rhodo leaf under a birch.

The size and the overall colouration led me to Tanytarsini, but I do not know whether this tribe can be found in this area. Could it be a pale Dicrotendipes ?

cf Fauna Europaea there are only two genera of this tribe (Stempellinina & Tanytarsina) in Europe. Would you confirm ?

Those are subtribes, not genera.
