Hi,

I have photographed this weevil in April, in a deciduous forest, 20km west of Paris.
About 5mm long.
I guess this is a Curculionidae but it is possible to go further, to the genus or species?

Hi, seems to be one of the Apionidae - do you remember the plant?

Thanks Eric, the plant is a common bluebell I think.

Reminds me more of Involvulus caeruleus (Rhynchitidae) [but I'm no expert on beetles!]
