Thread subject: Diptera.info :: giant Clogmia albipunctata

Hi,
Yesterday I came across a psychodid that was undoubtedly the common Clogmia albipunctata. However, I was surprised by its size! From wing tip to wing tip it measured 6 mm. I had never seen such a big one. Is this a case for the Guinness book, or do you know comparable specimens?

I think that is common. The one I shot recently (see Latest Photo Additions at left) was about that size.
