hello!
this in my first thread for roberflies. I think that this species is
Choerades fulva but I am not very sure, not being an expert and not having the literature for them.
the fly was photo in Calimani National Park, Romania (the North), at 1000 m. pines were predominately.

Hello,
now I can see the image. It's certainly a Choerades specimen. The genus is quite difficult, even if you have a specimen, which you can investigate with a stereo-mikroskop. Because of the quite greyish (instead of yellowish) dusting and hairs on the side of the thorax and because of the abdominal hair pattern I think it more likely that this is a specimen of the marginata-group. If you have details of the thorax and the head it may be possible to say more.
