A Calliphora in our garden, Tilburg (NL). An idea about the species??

Hi Kees.

It seems to be a C. loewi, but no sure since the pic is so dark.
Any more pictures ?

Also back yard sounds very vicina-ish.

Hello everyone,

the photo is not very helpful but the width of the frons eliminates loewi as a possibilty. The frons fits well with vicina, as does the single pv on t1. vicina can be found year round. I suggest that we call it Calliphora sp, unless better photos can be shown.
