An identification is quite difficult in this view angle. In my opinion the long proboscis and the dense yellow hair tuft on the anepisternum speak more for Choerades fimbriata.
This would be the first record of this species in North Rhine-Westphalia. Do you have another picture in a more lateral view?

Unfortunately this is the only foto, taken spontaneously during a bike tour with the camera of my mobile phone.
