Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Nightly Muscid: Phaonia?

Hello!
A 10 mm fly from the house yesterday night (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Is this a
Phaonia (Muscidae)? Thanks in advance!
Somewhat larger pic:

I know: one thread, one species. But this one (also 10 mm) isn't worth an own thread. I'm pretty sure, it's
Muscina levida, right?

Your ID for the second fly is correct - I can't see any other orange except the scutellum tip, so
M levida it is. (Of course, for an absolutely failsafe ID on this one, you need a view that shows the palps and antennae as well, but really, I am sure it is
M levida.)

Thanks, Susan! That seems to be by far the most abundant
Muscina species here.
