I am new to looking at diptera and would like to know if anybody can assist in identifying this one please.
They are currently visiting a
Euphoria ingens in Cape Town, South Africa, along with many other flies, wasps and bees.

Size: Approx 12mm
Body colour: Bronze-Green
Eyes far apart => female?
Front orbital plate: white
Frons: black
Anterior spiracle: white (vertical oval)
Posterior spiracle: white (small, round)

The hind margin of tergites seemed dark, which is not seen in Palaearctic Lucilia. On second look, they are not very convincing.
So additional arguments for either view are necessary.
