Amongst a variety of Tipulidae flying in woodland today was this rather nice one. Shropshire UK.
Any ideas anyone?
I'm pretty sure I have the right family this time

Pete Boardman has just determined this as Rhipidia maculata, a very common species in the UK. I'll submit a photo for the gallery.
