Tanypus vilipennis?

Now I have a second determination and can choose ...
You still added a question mark, John - does this mean that you are not 100% sure? T. vilipennis is one of the three species of Tanypus in Austria (according to Janecek et al. 2017), and I think the pic neither shows T. kraatzi nor T. punctipennis. So if you are sure that the genus is Tanypus, is should be T. vilipennis.

Closer (and more careful!) examination of the picture indicates that the venation is more like Tanypus - John is quite right, and I withdraw my suggestion.

I can't see clearly where the m-cu crossvein is relative to the fork in Cu, except I can see Cu is not long-petiolate as in Procladius. The scutal tubercle suggests Tanypus; the tubercles in other genera are much smaller. There is only one species in western Europe with such weak wing markings.
