Hello Mike,
the comma spots do not reach the tergite margins, so not
corollae. Most likely
Eupeodes luniger female.

To exclude
E. lapponicus the wing venation is important (in this species vein R4+5 is strongly bent). It is not clearly seen here. Another quite similar species is
Scaeva selenitica, but it has a swollen frons, dark antennae and a dark ring on the hind tibiae, so it is out.
Eupeodes spec. is OK.
It always pays to compare the pictures and explanation in Steven Falk's Syrphidae collection (
https://www.flick...600153789/).
