Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dancing Callopistromyia annulipes (Ulidiidae)

I observed this (Tephritidid EDIT:Ulidiid) fly dancing like a minature peacock today (June 21st) at the banks of the Neckar river in Heidelberg. Can someone help with the ID and does anyone maybe have information on this behavior?
