Maybe 12 mms. On bramble leaves in peaty mixed forest with spruce, Betula, Alnus, beech, and some aspen, Tinning Mose between Hammel and Hinnerup, Denmark, 8 July 2020.

I think more than is already said by Bent Haagen Petersen in https://www.fugle...ForumID=36 is not possible. I have never seen that species. The key in https://www.zobod...9-0079.pdf leads towards X. meigeniana, but I wished we could see the character "hind femora with middle third of ventral surface almost entirely covered in adpressed, yellow, spiny hairs; any black spiny hairs intermixed being mostly along the lateral margin". So, to me it is X. cf. meigeniana...
